ROBERT HAYES,III

Robert L. Hayes III. passion for art, design, computer software and television technology has allowed him to spend his entire career working in the entertainment industry. 

Hayes's first encounter with the media came in high school when he worked as a cameraman/floor director for Cablevision, a local cable station in Oak Park, IL., located just outside Chicago. After earning a degree in Mass/Organizational Communications from Wright State University, in Dayton, Ohio, Hayes returned to Chicago where he was employed by Amethyst Entertainment, a small production company that produced television shows and international concerts. The Essence Awards Show, the Cancun and Acapulco Jazz Festivals, are just a few of the programs Hayes was involved in. He later left Amethyst to join the Tribune Company, where he worked his way from a Graphics Assistant to Operation Supervisor for Tribune's 24 hour news network Chicagoland Television. During his two-year stint, Hayes picked up enough skills and technical knowledge to become the liaison between the editorial and the technical staff.

In 1996 Hayes left Tribune for Los Angeles, CA to take a position as a Field Producer for a daytime TV talk show produced by Fox Television. When the show was cancelled, Hayes moved over to Fox Sports/Fox Sports Net as Designer/Animator. 

Out of his sevenyears with his Fox Sports' graphics team, the team was awarded with five Emmys.

When the opportunity arose, Hayes headed for Europe. His first stop was Milan, Italy, where he was employed by Sky Sports as Graphics Consultant.  In a similar position, he spent 10 weeks in DuBai, United Arab Emirates with MBC, (Middle East Broadcasting Company) for a re-launch of their News division.Robert now freelances for many companies such as the NFL Network.

Robert offers services include design,2d/3d animation, editing, web design and production consulting. As such, the company he tapped into other production companies to provide it with its visual and technical know how. As a result, Robert's work has appeared in projects for, Tom Joyner's Sky Show TV, Magic Johnson's 25th Business Aniversary, BET, Big Brother/Big Sister presentation, Christmas Glory, Sunday Bless and more...he would like to add you to this list.
